How to
Create a division
- Go to People → Divisions.
- Click Create new.
- Enter a Division Name and, if useful, a Description.
- Under Assign Employees, select the employees who belong to this division.
- Under Assign Admins, select the administrators who manage this division.
- Click Create Division.
Edit a division
- Go to People → Divisions.
- Click the division you want to change.
- Update the name, description, employees, or admins.
- Click Update Division.
Delete a division
- Select the division in the list, or click the trash icon on its row.
- Confirm the deletion.
Important: Deleting a division cannot be undone. It doesn't delete the employees or admins in it, only the division itself.
Filter BOS by division
If your account has more than one division, a division switcher appears at the top of BOS.
- Click the division switcher in the header.
- Choose All divisions, or select one or more specific divisions.
Screens such as orders, shifts, the schedule, invoices, and time management then only show data for the divisions you've selected.
What do the fields mean?
Division Name
The name of the division, for example Stockholm office or Cleaning department.
Description
An optional free-text note about the division.
Number of Employees
How many employees are currently assigned to this division.
Assigned Admins
The administrators who manage this division, shown as avatars.
Good to know
- An administrator with no division assigned sees all employees, across every division.
- Only an administrator or owner sees the division switcher in the header — employees don't see it.
- The division switcher only appears once your account has at least one division set up.
- What an administrator can do with divisions — add, edit, delete, or just view them — depends on their permissions, set under People → Users → Permissions.
